Croatia beaches are often the main attraction in this exquisite country, which is no surprise that when summertime time comes around, beaches are jammed everywhere. However, owning a rough estimation of the beaches of Croatia in general might save you both time and assist you in designing the perfect beach vacation you arrived to enjoy.

Bol na Bracu - Zlatni rat

Zlatni Rat – One of the most well-known Adriatic beaches, Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn Beach) is over 500 yards long and is based in Bol on Brac Island. Well famous for its characteristic figure (a very sharp triangle) that juts into the sea, the Golden horn’s beauty is in all probability its most-valuable attraction. Other particular and rare thing about this beach is that the peak of it shifts directions matching to the air current and waves, therefore if you’ve been here one time and it was a certain angle, chances are it’ll be unlike the next time you arrive!

Paradise Beach – The transparent waters that circle the fine sandy coastline of Paradise beach are what pull in the tourists and locals alike here year after year. With its shallow waters idyllic for families and beginner swimmers, pines that provide shade during the summertime and merely pure old beauty, its not problematic to find out why this spot resembles Paradise. Situated some 12km from the town of Rab, Paradise Beach has been rewarded with the blue flag prize and is arguably one of the best beaches Croatia has to offer.

Brela Beaches – Brela Beaches are well-known throughout the world, even if you don’t know the name, you might have run into it on post cards and magazines. Entered into Forbes “top 20 beaches of the world” listing, the two hottest beaches to see in Brela would be Punta Rata and Berulija. Both of these long white pebbled beaches have been presented with a blue flag and are family friendly also with lifeguards and life saving equipment all inside reach. Both these beaches also manage the handicapped and offer several on site changing and catering facilities.

Peljesac Beaches – The beaches on the Peljesac Peninsula are untouched, pretty and some of the most romantic beaches in Croatia. Direct for the beautiful Vucine beach in Zuljana; a genuine hidden treasure inside a gorgeous scene of translucent waters and porcelain sand or Trstenick in Vodice; a secret beach perfect for that sunset walk with your cherished one.
