The nightlife in Daytona Beach is renowned, and things get especially crazy here when Spring Break is going on. The scene is also rather raucous when Bike Week and Biketoberfest are going on. You don't have to visit during Spring Break or a motorcycle event, however, if you want to enjoy some lively Daytona Beach nightlife. The bars and clubs in Daytona Beach are hopping throughout the year, with the summer months seeing some of the most action. Things tend to quiet down a little bit in the winter months, but you can still find a party if you're up for one.

If you're looking for some good clubs in Daytona Beach, then you'll do well to visit Club 600 North or the Ocean Deck Restaurant & Beach Club. Club 600 North dubs itself as "Daytona's Hottest Night Club," though you can be the judge of that. It's definitely one of the city's hottest places to unwind. You can find Club 600 North at the corner of Seabreeze Blvd and the A1A. It's just steps from the beach and in the heart of all the action. The music here ranges from live rock to hip hop, and special events like the Thursday bikini contests help to keep things exciting.

The Ocean Deck Restaurant & Beach Club is one of the city's best oceanfront clubs, and you'll often catch live Reggae music here on any given night. You can dance the night away at the Ocean Deck regardless of which day of the week it is, and you'll have to try the club's signature drink at some point. Named "Red Tide", this specialty drink is sure to help you get your back off the wall. It's not all about the drinks and the dancing at the Ocean Deck. The restaurant serves up some good food, and if you like seafood, it shouldn't disappoint.

If you enjoy dancing and rock music, then two other clubs in Daytona Beach that you will also want to keep on the radar include Razzles and the Aqua Lounge. Like most of the clubs and bars in Daytona Beach, these hangouts seem to get crazier during Spring Break. Speaking of the bars here, Main Street and Seabreeze Boulevard are where some of the best can be found. Bikers like to frequent bars like the Boot Hill Saloon and Froggy's, both of which can get pretty crazy themselves. Topless shows aren't uncommon at some of the bars in Daytona Beach, and you're bound to see at least one person dancing on a bar at some point.

When most people think of Daytona Beach nightlife, they likely think of biker bars and wild college kids at the local clubs. While this is somewhat accurate, it doesn't do the city's entire nightlife scene justice. The nightlife in Daytona Beach isn't only limited to the bars and clubs. Simply heading out to one of the area restaurants and enjoying a good meal can make for a fun evening out, and if you like the performing arts, you can see what's on tap at venues like the Peabody Auditorium or the Seaside Music Theater. Perhaps a band that you like is coming to town or you want to enjoy a ghost tour.
