There are many attractions in Dallas to see, but only one attraction in Dallas dedicated to the Kenney assassination. It is the historical spot in American history. The 1960's were full of patriotic optimism, but that all came to a crashing halt the day John F. Kennedy was assassinated. The Sixth Floor Museum is the memory of that day. It includes everything about this famous day such as films, interviews, aftermath analysis and other facts. Figure out the truth about that improbable day in 1963.
The Sixth Floor Museum in a sense stopped time on that very day, and made that famous corner window into a museum. You begin the museum by studying the chronicles of Kennedy's life, career and presidency. One of the most graphic Texas tourist attractions about the Sixth Floor Museum is that the visitor is allowed to see the point of view of the shooter. The views look out at Dealey Plaza. All the windows on the floor are all available for viewing. After being in the shooter's shoes, you can watch the historical footage of that day. All of the original audio broadcasts are present with no additional narration. Also there is a chronology that explains the sequence as they unfolded on November 22, 1963.
Afterward, there are many films that discuss the events that transcended that fateful day. One of the films analyzes the national and world reaction to the Kennedy assassination. Another will discuss the investigation process. It encompasses all the participants, procedures and the most profound findings. There will be a section on "who done it", that will discuss what the American public believes as a conspiracy.
This is one of the only Texas tourist attractions that takes you back to the sixties through the sights and sounds of the hysteria of the assassination of 1963. It is one of the most remembered days in American history, and continues to be discussed and hopes of its true revelation is still sought after.
Put your conspiracy theory to the test at this attraction in Dallas. At the very least, you will retain all the education behind this date, and possible add your own two cents. This is one of the most unique Texas tourist attractions, and if you are in Dallas for the day, or a week is a must see. The films are very engaging and the photos are as haunting as ever as it tells the story of one of the most mysterious and unsettling days in the last century. This is one attraction in Dallas that everyone should visit.
