Iceland

In the recent years Iceland has become one of the important tourist destinations in Europe. Iceland is a well known country that is situated in the Northern part of Europe. According to the history the first habitation in the country of Iceland began in the year 874. later the Norwegian, Nordic and Gaelic people started coming to the country and became permanent settlers of the country. The people living here mainly were dependent on agriculture and fishing. The economy and welfare system developed in the twentieth century.

At Present Iceland is the most developed country in the world. The country practices a mixed economy. The main sectors of the industry includes service sector, finance sector, fishing sector as well as a variety of other sectors. According to the productivity the country is also th fourth mos t productive country in the world. The country of Iceland also has a rich cultural heritage. The culture of Iceland is much influenced by the Viking and Norse Traditions. You can be overwhelmed by the literature of Iceland.
