Lang Co Mui Ne or Ancient Village Mui Ne

As suggested by its name, Lang Co Mui Ne or ancient village Mui Ne, located on the artery road leading to Mui Ne, is a simple and peaceful village built in the style of traditional Vietnamese architecture, with round wooden columns and roofed with bricks.

At one time these houses were a common sight in Vietnam, but they are gradually disappearing and being replaced by more modern structures.

To this end, the village’s owner searched all over Vietnam for these old houses and had them moved to the village and rebuilt in their original design, ensuring that they retained their regional characteristics not only on the outside but also in the details of the interior design.

Visitors to the village may amble on the narrow paths that wind around ten old, wooden-low-roofed houses in a three-hectare garden covered with grass and green trees.

Three of the houses are used as small museums but the rest have been turned into restaurants serving seafood and traditional Vietnamese dishes and delicacies.

The open design of the restaurants permits gourmets to enjoy the cool sea breeze and quiet, peaceful picturesque countryside as they dine. Prices start at VND40,000 per dish.

The village is planning to expand its scale in the region, building some 50 rooms and other services to cater to international and local travelers.
